Which proxy types can I choose?

The product family includes residential, static ISP, datacenter, and IPv6 proxies. Select the type that matches your routing needs and follow the proxy setup guide.

What is the difference between rotating and sticky sessions?

Rotating routing changes the exit IP between requests. Sticky routing aims to reuse an IP for a session until it expires. Use the session controls documented for your proxy type.

Can I authenticate a proxy connection with my API key?

Use the proxy credentials and endpoint generated for your channel. An API key header used by a REST endpoint is not a substitute for your proxy connection configuration.

What does HTTP 407 mean?

Check the proxy username and password and whether your channel has reached its traffic limit. Redact credentials before sharing the configuration with support.

What should I check if the proxy will not connect?

Verify the host, port, protocol, network route, and outbound firewall rules. Check whether another VPN or proxy is affecting the connection. Test a minimal request from the same environment; keep security controls enabled while investigating.

Why is a proxy request slow?

Compare a small target with the affected target, reduce parallel traffic, and check client bandwidth. Record connection and response times separately if possible. Share the proxy type, selected location, target, and timestamps so support can isolate the cause.

Does every error come from the proxy?

No. Inspect the response body and connection stage to identify whether the response came from your client, the proxy layer, or the target. Preserve those details when reporting an error instead of classifying it by status code alone.
