Authentication and Endpoints

Connection string

Scrapeless proxies use username–password authentication. Credentials and options are encoded into the --proxy-user field:

  • <host>: Proxy gateway address.
  • <port>: Proxy gateway port.
  • <channelId>: Your channel ID.
  • <proxy_type>: Proxy type, bound to your channel and should not be modified.
  • <country>: Target country code. See Geo-targeting.
  • <state>: Target state code. See Geo-targeting.
  • <city>: Target city code. See Geo-targeting.
  • <sessionDuration>: Session duration, such as “0m”, “1m”, “5m”, “60m”, etc. See Rotation and Sticky Sessions.
  • <sessionId>: Session ID, you can use a new session ID for each request. See Rotation and Sticky Sessions.
  • <password>: Channel password.

Due to the lack of GeoDNS support, your choice of endpoint will directly affect connection speed and performance. Selecting a nearby endpoint can help reduce latency and improve connection quality, while still granting access to proxy locations worldwide.

Available Endpoints

Choose the appropriate gateway based on your location:

  • Americas (United States): gw-us.scrapeless.io:8789 – Optimized for users in the Americas.
  • Europe (Germany): gw-eu.scrapeless.io:8789 – Optimized for users in Europe.
  • Asia (Singapore): gw-ap.scrapeless.io:8789 – Optimized for users in Asia.
